A hugely ambitious project involving the complete demolition (retaining the front façade only) and reconstruction of a detached house in Kew. A steel frame was used to form the structure , creating a feature rear gable comprising 2 storey high glass curtain walling. A protruding rear bay window and a triangular feature glazed window made up the design on the first and second floors respectively. A newly extended kitchen as well as redesigned living area, creation of a utility room and the addition of another two bedrooms with ensuite formed the rest of the brief. Hi-spec finishes throughout including designer kitchen, hardwood flooring, rear decking and landscaping and the installation of a full AV/security system finalised the transition of this property into something truly special.
