Dunollie Place

This ambitious project in North London involved demolition of the property so that only the brickwork, front façade and end of terrace flank wall remained. Temporary propping was then used to support/restrain these walls whilst the inner shell and core was rebuilt. Many of the original features were saved and re-installed, including Victorian staircase, floor joists, panelled doors and all bricks. Further works included a rear and side extension, creation of a cellar space to house services, installation of large sliding doors, skylights and a full height gable end glass wall to create floods of natural light. Solar panels were fitted on the roof, providing hot water throughout the year. The result is an environmentally sustainable and beautifully finished property.
