December 2011: Ship Shape features in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for a second year in a row

In December 2011 Ship Shape was proud to be listed as one of the fastest growing UK companies in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for a second year in a row.

The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.

December 2011: Ship Shape shortlisted for The Daily Telegraph Homebuilding & Renovating magazine awards

In December our project in Kentish Town, North London was shortlisted for the 'renovation' award in The Daily Telegraph's Homebuilding & Renovating Awards 2011.

The project was nominated because of its unique, recycled nature and featured in a seven page article in the Homebuilding & Renovating magazine entitled 'Recycling Scheme'. The article described how the property was effectively dismantled and rebuilt using the salvaged material, commenting that the project was "just about the most extreme renovation of a terraced home you can get without actually knocking the whole thing down".

October 2011: We’re on the cover of Grand Designs magazine

In October we were thrilled to see our project in Kentish Town had been chosen to appear on the front cover of the latest issue of Grand Designs magazine.

Inside, the property featured in a ten page article entitled ‘Perfectly Preserved’ where the client expressed her happiness with the finished product, stating ‘It's ticked all my boxes’. The ambitious project involved demolition of a Victorian house in North London then rebuilding it almost entirely from the original materials. The result, as described in the Grand Designs article, is a property “steeped in history but with a strikingly modern feel.”

October 2011: Homes and Gardens magazine

Our West Hampstead project featured in the ‘Dream Kitchens’ supplement of October’s Homes and Gardens magazine.
Curves typified much of the new layout of the property and the article ‘Modern Curves’ shows off the striking open-plan kitchen and bespoke curved glass rear extension.

Our project in West Hampstead, North West London appeared in September’s Elle Decoration UK magazine.
The property's open plan kitchen and living area featured in an article entitled ‘Living Kitchens’ which focused on clever ways to create space with layout and visual devices.

April 2011: Ship Shape project features in Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine.

In April 2011 our West Hampstead project featured in the national magazine Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms. The nine page feature article entitled ‘Resplendent rebirth’ explains in detail, how this early 20th century property was transformed into a modern family home.

2011: Two Ship Shape Construction projects feature in the London RIBA journal.

Two of our projects based in North London, one in Hampstead and one in Kentish Town were chosen to feature in the 2011 London RIBA journal, the directory of Chartered Architect practices in London.

December 2010: Ship Shape listed as one of the fastest growing UK companies in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.

Making clients happy and asking them to tell others has allowed us to achieve an average growth rate of 89% over the last three years, in one of the toughest markets in living memory. Now Ship Shape Resources (parent of Ship Shape Construction) is proud to be listed as one of the fastest growing UK private limited companies in the Virgin Fast Track 100, as published in December 2010 by The Sunday Times.

September 2010: Ship Shape project featured in Real Homes magazine.

We were delighted to find our project in Muswell Hill, London featured on the cover of Real Homes magazine and be described in a detailed eight page editorial entitled “Our modern extension has transformed our home”. In the article the client describes Ship Shape as “absolutely brilliant” and in particular praises the way in which the project was completed on-time, a factor that was vital to their plans to vacate rented accommodation.
